Back from South Beach, Miami
Just woke up after an AMAZING trip to South Beach. Me and Adam left after the soccer practice wednesday morning. The team was playing thursday night... so it was good timing. Florida Southern lost to University of Miami, but we'll come back...
So our trip...
The trip there was not bad at all. We arrived, checked in to out hotel. Out hotel was not bad at all, expecially for the location and the price. We stayed one block from the beach, one block from the nightclub strip and one block from all the shopping and restaurants. Perfect... the manager lived next door to our room. He was a happy cute little chinese boy.

Then we put on out bathing suites and went outside. HOT!! We walked around for a little bit first. People there are interesting. It is a lot of european people, but also from everywhere else. There is more spanish spoken than English. A lot of hot people, but also some... not so hot people. Anyway, we loved this. Walked around, bought some sunscreen, and then time for food. Since we both love sushi, we decided to sit down at one of the main strips and have a lot of Sushi for $20. Perfect!!!
Then it was too hot to do anything, so we went to the beach. I have a hard time laying still for too long, so we were there for maybe and hour and a half... So then we went shopping again. Zara let me down a little bit... But I bought a dress. It's intereseting how one street have all the fashion and expensive stores, and the street "behind" has the same stuff but cheaper. So two pair of shoes too. And Adam got a pair of shoes that I AM in love with... (?)

After some shopping, we were both tired and went back to the hotel to watch some TV, have a drink, and just relax. Also time to shower and get ready for the night.
We went to Ocean Dr, which is the main strip for restaurants and they all have an ocean view. Lovely. It's a small strip and a lot of people. And the people are not shy... Not for compliments, giving you VIP bands, nor putting a meny in your face... We sat down at a really nice restaurant, that was relatively cheap. The food was delicious... and I also got the largest drink I've ever had. And when that one was gone, I got another one for free. So I was all set... When we sat there, the popel next to us stared a little bit wierd... But then they came up to me and asked if I was "the Omni" girl... Small world. So we talked to these really nice poeple for a little while...
Then we were going out... We decided to go to Mansion which was to one of the VIP places that we "got entrance to". But of course... The VIP line was longer than the other line. And all the girl that got in gave the bouncer a kiss... So we decided to go to the club across the street.
At that club... I went to the bathroom. It was a girl sitting there, trying to fix people's hair and make up. I felt so bad for her... So i bought her a drink. I am so dumb... It was so expensive... Hopefully she really enjoyed it!!!! It was funt... And we talked to all kinds of wierd people. And of course we still went in to stores. Luckily we didn't buy anything... And I talked to everyone!! For some wierd reason, if I have a "little" drink and if it is after 1am... I talked to EVERYONE. We had fun though, and laughed a lot. The place we got in to was mostly european... And there sure is a difference between the way european dress, dance and behave... compared to americans. But we had fun.
