X-mas
So now I am hoping that I get days off so that I can go to Detriot to Adam and his family. Adam's dad told him yesterday that he got him and me tickets for a Detroit Red Wings game. YEEEES!!! That would be so much fun. Ice hockey is not my favourite sport, but I like every sport so whatever. Plus I worked for Nicklas Lidstrom ones when he had the Stanley Cup trofe on tour. So I drank champagne out of it. Plus that their team is almost Swedish. So I am really excited!!!!
Spice for Caitlin's Birthday+Nice "wine night"
For Caitlin's 21st, we went to Spice for dinner. It was perfet because we also had a lot of visitors. It was a great night. I had one of the best I've ever had... So I will try to find that to buy somewhere. 7 daughters or something like that? I will google it now...
They of course did sake bombs, and we mostle watched. Or actually they didn't even do bombs. They just drank it... The best part of dinner was probably when they sang to Cait. hahaha... He played drums and sang. haha... It was hillarious!
But... Also... I LOVE FLORIDA!!!
After dinner we just sat at Givi's porch the rest of the night. I love it... GREAT music with perfect volume, nice drinks, lovely people, and their porch is perfect!!! I had a great night!!

New mascara in the mail
I got a new mascara in the mail. And I really believe that it makes my eye lashes longer. I don't want them to only be long, thick too... (my eye lashes). So I like this one. It is Japanese (or chinese maybe) same thing, almost. What do you think? It's relatively cheap too!
Friday the 13th
But this is me:
-I am paying extra attention on Friday the 13th
-I never walk under ladders
-I always spit (at least pretend) if a black cat cross the road
-I never put my keys on a table
-It scares me if a mirror breaks
But that's it. Some other things that I've heard that I do not care at all about are
-Umbrellas inside the house - you will drown the next time you swim; or, opening an umbrella indoors will bring you bad luck
-Do not ride a bicycle if you're a woman because you will not get pregnant
-Carry a rabbit's foot for good luck
-Don't go to sleep at night with wet hair or else snakes will sleep with you
Maybe I won't get pregnant, drown, or have snakes in bed (big snake alabama?) No... I'm just kidding.
Alright... I think most of us survived Fridaythe 13th... GOOD!

The soccer team is done for this year. No more games this fall... Sad:(
On the other hand, they now have more free time and more time to do stuff. Like Friday, we all went out. I worked Saturday, so I Was with during the evening, but when they all went out I stayed home to sleep. I didn't fall asleep til after 2am anyway but it felt good to be in bed. 3,5 hours later I was up, ready to go to work. I think I now have an ability to store sleep. I wasn't too tired at work, and when I got home I didn't even take a nap. I stayed up.
So Friday night. We were just taking it easy at my house. But around 10:20pm ish the house got stormed by people. But we had a great time, so it was worth it. I am excited and looking forward to more nights like this.

A night out with my lovely Crooks
The place that we went was lovely. It was really cool. The DJ played good music, and the athmosphere was great. Since it was a fashion show, there was a lot of people their that was really fashionable. IIt was good looking people, good drinks, nice set up, and a great time.
I had a great night. Me and Crooks hung out and had a good time. It was fun to "people watch".
I was talking to Crooks about going to the David Guetta show. That I really wanted to go... She's like, I don't know who it is, but sure I'll come". And I tried to explain who it was (I can't sing). And 10 seconds later... Sexy bitch/chik came on. That was funny. So I took that as a hint. So now I'm gonna look at tickets:P

We had an 80's night
Patrik left yesterday, so that was sad. So we said by to him.
Then...
We were watching Shakira's music video "She wolf" and we decided that we want to have her body. We were realistic(?) so we did not ask for her moves. I don't even know if that's how I want to move...
So we decided to go work out at the gym. First of all, we were already a little "happy". So we decided to make a fool of ourselves. I'll give some credits to this country thou, people laugh while back home they would look at you wierd. Well... They did here too, but in a different way. You know what I mean. Here it is ok and funny to be wierd, back home it is... Unnormal.
When we finally got to ther gym, it was closed! We forgot that it was Sunday Funday and 10.30pm. So we decided to work out just outside... That worked too.
I was impressed by our workout. And we burned even more calories becuase of how much we laughed.
Then on the way home, we met AJ. He couldn't really believe what he saw... But he joined.
Then we walked by the soccer field for some guys that were playing soccer. And they had kicked the ball over the fence and the guy was trying to kick it over. And wierd as I am... I asked if I could try. His response was "well... You're more than welcome to try, but it has to go OVER the fence. I can't get it over... But good luck". I've never been so nervous, becuase I felt dumb... BUT I GOT IT OVER ON THE FIRST TRY!!!! Then his friends said I was on the team... But I think that is techniqually wrong. But I didn't say anything...
So then we kept walking... To our house which was about a ten second walk... Well back here we played some more games, and ended our perfect Sunday Funday!!!

Lovely roommate
My roomate and Jeff stayed at my hotel the other night... And I helped them out a little bit. I got them a cabana, late check out, amenity (chocolate covered strawberries) upgraded room... and that was it. Nothing speical at all.
And they are so cute... The got me this. Really nice wine, really nice card, and a gift card... Love you!

Spotify for you amerikans is like an online playlist. Whatever song you want is there (almost) and you can make your own playlist. Like a free iTunes kind of. Except you can't put it on your iPod... I guess that is a problem... But a minor one:)
I have realized though that some of the most popular songs over here are "unfindable"... Haha... They are nowhere to be found on spotify. But it's ok... I'm glad for the little I can get:)

So to be able to get the honor cords for graduation... he had to make a blanket(?) haha... That's wierd. So me, Adam, Sara, Jackie and Therese spend a little time making a blanket. But it got pretty. And I guess some child somewhere will get warmer, Adam get his cords, and the rest of us had a good time so it wasn't too bad.
I know I look very on to it. I WAS!!! It had to hold the blanket when he was cutting... Held it with my whole body.

I don't know if I should say that it suprise me or impresses me... Probably surprise...
Some wierd stuff I heard about Beijing
Before the Olympics:
-The government calculated how the clouds would move. According to how they move, they figured out what clouds would two days later be over any of the main attractions during the olympics. Then they put some kind of "rain powder" on these clouds to make it rain. This way, the cloud was "out of rain" the day that it would be in the sky over the olympic event.
-The government turned off all kinds of industries before the olympics so that there would not be so much smog. You know how Beijing always have this kind of dustcloud above it. All this so it would look pretty and have the blue sky presented to the world during the olympics.
-Restrictions on traffic. Depending on the cars license plate, the car could only be used certain days. So for example if the plate ended with an even number, they could drive on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Odd numbers would be Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Sunday was either everyone or no one. As you can tell I don't know exactly how it worked... But the idea.
And then of course you know about the restriction of number of children.
I don't really have a comment about this. To me it is just really really wierd? But I don't know exactly what to do about it. I guess there isn't really an answer. If it was and if I gave it to you here and now, I would prabably be the new Hu Jintao (or however that is spelled). That is China's president btw.
The reason to why I thought about all this is because I read today in the Swedish magazine aftonbladet (well... online at aftonbladet.se) that the government of China made it snow. The put "Snow powder" on the clouds this time. Because it was too dry or something?! wierd...

I know I care too much about what people think

And I also know that people might not even be in the same great mood as I am at the moment, and it might not have to do with me at all...
Even though I know all these stuff... I still can't let it go. I am writing it down... I have the answer to what would make my life a LOT easier, but why can I just not adapt it into real life?
Like tonight..? Tonight I felt like I didn't do ANYTHING wrong... But EVERYTHING still came out wrong... What did I do? And I think it is a big deal, but appearantly not. I am just soooo scared and afraid of conflictions, and argumentations. I love it if it is not personal... But otherwise I hate it.
I am wierd... I still want people that I dislike to like me... That's not many because I like most people... But still...

It was Martina's namesday, but she also just set the school record in number of shot outs. Shot outs in Swedish are called "to keep the zero". So someone that does is called the 0er... It doesn't make sence... I can't really translate. But my idea was to write happy namesday and congrats to the shot out, and you're the best. But not quite... It's the thought that counts, right?

Party when the Swedes are In House
Just a random night... But I loved it. Monday night, we had a great night... After eating with Therese (who by the way might be one of the best friends anyone can have), we went over to the Swedes house for a wine night. It was a lot of fun. Good music, good wine, and GOOD PEOPLE! Simon was here from Sweden, Xhevi (spelling?) from Spain, and Patrik from Sweden. And then of course all the "regular people".
It was a great night and I was suffering Tuesday. But it was worth it...
